Life is an ever-changing landscape that keeps us on our toes. From the moment we are born, and take our first breath, we are expected to flourish. Our parents often have hopes and dreams for us, even before we exit the womb. This can be a cumbersome burden to carry through life, and oftentimes, we fall short. In these times, our determination and grit play a crucial role in helping us move past our shortcomings and failures. Over the years, I have grown to take great solace in quotes as they help me get perspective and give me sustenance to move forward. So, I would like to share some of my most loved quotes about life with you.
If you think life is tough, I’m with you! Often, when you feel you have things all figured out, life throws you a curveball. The way I see it, you have two options. You either let the curveball dominate your life, or you pivot and take control. I understand that some people may have barriers that prevent them from recovering from certain situations, and hopefully, they have a support system in place or know where to turn to find help. In my article, How To Help Your Teen Diagnosed With An Anxiety Disorder, I talk specifically about the challenges my daughter faced in high school. I know a thing or two about curveballs.
Everyone’s journey through life is different, and we must all be mindful of this and avoid comparing ourselves with others. In fact, we owe it to ourselves to focus our energy inward to better ourselves and our circumstances and live the life we deserve. By no means is life a walk in the park, because there will always be challenges in our way. But a determined soul is unstoppable.
Can quotes about life change your life?
The only thing in this world that can change your life is you. So, no, quotes can’t change your life. But they can give you a fresh perspective on things and motivate you to initiate change. Sometimes, the changes that are required are minuscule, sometimes, they are huge, and sometimes, nothing needs to change at all. But know this, whatever is required in your life, quotes have the power to help you see things differently, feel things differently, and find common ground with others. That is, if you keep an open mind and allow yourself to be receptive.
It’s no secret that I am a quote-lover at heart. Not only do I post quotes on social media often, but I have also written a few articles centered around quotes.
Here are the links:
I love all of these collections, but the last one is dear to my heart. You see, several years ago, after much introspection, I realized that I was an introvert. Game-changer! Finally, everything in my life made sense, and I grew to understand exactly why I do the things I do and think the way that I do.
When I put together the collection of quotes for introverted moms, I was doing more than just writing a blog post; I was writing my life’s anthem. I could identify with many, if not all, of the introvert quotes, and finally, I felt like I belonged. Indeed, much to my delight, there are others out there in this beautiful world who are just like me!
So, don’t underestimate the power of a good quote! I know for a fact that they can have quite a significant impact on people.
So now, without further ado, it’s time to share my favorite quotes about life.
